Vasu Eda
Vasu Eda is an internationally recognized expert on youth development and the author of Get Job Ready – How to Land Your Dream Job Out of College, published by the world’s leading publishing company, Penguin Random House.
The primary reason for writing the book is to help address the youth unemployment issue in India. The secondary reason being…for India to achieve full potential its college graduates need to have strong fundamental employability skills/abilities such as creative problem solving and communication.
Vasu founded a Human Capital Management software-as-a-service (SaaS) company in the US and served as its CEO from its inception to its eventual acquisition by a publicly held company. Prior to that, he worked at multinational companies, Alcatel-Lucent and Intel Corporation, in corporate strategy, and mergers and acquisitions.
Vasu holds an MBA from Columbia University, an MS in Computer Science from Stevens Institute of Technology, a BE in Mechanical Engineering from Shivaji University, and a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Government Polytechnic College in Warangal. Vasu and his wife, Karuna, have three children (Anurag, Krithi, and Ria).
Vasu frequently visits colleges as a guest speaker. In addition to the book, Vasu Eda also published many articles on job readiness and innovation.
